Locally Blown Up Poem by Elena Goldenberg

Locally Blown Up

my world is being shattered to peices
by cold seated deep in your heart
in a chest where nothing is beating
still something is ready to start

my faith is being shielded by dreaming
of mould covered stone walled love
that’s only a reason for... living?
or leaving is destined above?

your love is one seldom avowed
by word fleeting more like a chill
that craving for blood beaten marvel
alive turned by force of my wll

your world is but miles from my own
its laws – pretty similar lies
we’ve mown just the same as was sown
by ending in mutual ties
