Locked Behind Walls Poem by Noah Body

Locked Behind Walls

Locked behind walls
Walls of my own making
My grave lies within those walls

Alone, so all alone
Out there life passes by
In here is only death

My heart weeps
My soul sobs
My face is damp with tears
It hurts so good

I can't do this again
No more, no more
He wins

Leave me alone
So lonely
Nothing, nowhere to be found

Life is pain, pain is life
No more pain, no more life
I deserve to die

I bang my head on the walls
Without leaving a mark
They are impenetrable

Let me out of this prison
Built with my own hands
The only escape is death

The walls close in
Press in from every side
They are my world

Life isn't worth living
Death comes for us all
Come for me now

Walls, walls, walls
Everywhere walls
There is no escape

I surrender
Better off dead
