It was described in the paper
The most horrid event ever
The greatest, stupendous caper
Makes one think the man was clever
Who would've thought it was Charlie
A man shy and full of kindness
Writing clues in his diary
That would lead to his arrest
Forty years he was our neighbor
You'd think you'd know a person then
With this surprise came the horror
They're putting him in the State Pen
