London Streets Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

London Streets

Went to
Royal
Albert Hall
To watch
A concert.

The warmth of the
Show
Waned away,
Walking in the
Cold and biting
London streets.

The grandeur of the
Show
Faded away
Seeing the
Poor and homeless
Squatting in those
Dreadfully cold,
Raining and pouring
Sub-zero freezing…
London streets.

(Poetry themed on Disparity)
