Lone Rose Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

Lone Rose

That lone
Rose
In my
Garden
Asks me:

Do you
Like my
Thorns
More than
Me..? !

My thoughts on this poem. Protection. The thorns protect the rose. Try to touch the pretty flower and you are pricked. The pain of beauty.
