I should be sleeping by now
As I had a very long day
Went to work and a musical show
I am exhausted in every way

Can you feel the love tonight
Do you feel you burning with love
But there is not any at sight
Only a touch of a gentle dove

I cry out to you my lover
I am really very empty on the inside
I don't want to be a giver
I don't want to wear a mask outside

Won't just someone care to love me
Won't just anybody pray to love me
