Lonely Girl Poem by Katheryn Foley

Lonely Girl

Pinned up against the wall I'm afraid to fall,

My heart dove for cover to hide its pain.

A smile never found impossible emotions fill my body,

Barely moving barely breathing I'm numb against you.

Hands tied behind my back,

I cant help but bury myself inside this tine crack.

Away from the world.

My feet slip off the edge of stone and fall down this fake well.

Dark clouds push in my world is dark and lonesome.

Nobody here to give me comfort.

Vanishing fast into the air,

this wind of wonders drowns my mind,

I cant speak I cant think of the words to say.

I can only kneel to pray.

God whisked me away to a better place of acknowledgment.

Where my worries were secure inside.
