Lonely Hearts Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Lonely Hearts

The diamond:

Teardrops
are now flowing
the end of sweet romance.
In bygone days he gave roses
but today's flower pot is not needed.
Long ago they'd pray together
Love was pure and devout
Always blind to
Teardrops.
