Lonely Tradition Poem by Jeremy Willson

Lonely Tradition

It's Christmas Chinese food
Sitting at the kitchen table,
The sweet sesame chicken
The lomane and rice
Too much for just myself
But no one to share it with
The fortune cookie is always stale
Like this yearly tradition
