Lonely Tree Poem by Thomas Plotz

Lonely Tree

Lonely tree
Standing bare
Once covered with leaves, so fare

Now blown and shed, away
December winds
Sent them flying, stray

Snow and sleigh bells
Now seen and heard
Decembers Lovely addition

The condition with weather summations
Abstraction and calculations of how,
Much the wind blows or does not
Affecting the air temperature

December able to be
Most pleasant

Then, I don't mind
Standing by the
Bare lonely tree

Looking upward to, blue crisp sky
Knowing spring, will bring,
The leaves back
