Lonescar Poem by Arik Fletcher

Lonescar

Walking here amongst the Damned,
Wings long stripped and turned to dust,
Left to fend and stand alone,
Silver skin long tinged with rust,

Walking down amongst the beast,
Staring up towards the sky,
Dreams of ancient memories,
Stolen from that place so high,

Walking here amongst the lost,
Fangs and claws long dulled with age,
Drowning in their blissful trance,
Fighting to control the rage.
