Long Life To The King Poem by Gianni Pintus

Long Life To The King

The royal phoenix just flew above this world,
The white wizard appeared with his magical sword.
The last winter season was melting away,
The sun was so strong lighten our day.

The king decided to make his people happy and delight,
He kept all of them busy as well through the fiery night.
But the morning after the crucial moment was real,
The war was imminent and then surreal.

All the villages welcomed him with incredible love,
Till one day he woke up and declared this war must be solved.
He declared peace and on his throne he intend to stay,
In meantime the powerful evil sorcerer vanished away.

But the next winter was fatal and the king's people barely survived,
Then just when they couldn't have taken any more, the spring just arrived,
The bravest fairy cured all the people which most of them were ill,
Meanwhile the mighty knights sharpened the swords with their skills.

The warriors worked hard and then go to sleep in the stall,
They never were afraid of dark and always ready for the call.
The king was aware the enemies were coming fast and he start to worry,
But with furious approach he made a strong defence around the castle with no hurry.

He did make all he can to clear his name,
He did beg everybody without any shame.
Remembering what he built and always thinking clever.
But through his powers the kingdom was greater than ever.
