Long Live The New Pope Francis I Poem by Dr John Celes

Long Live The New Pope Francis I

The world has got a newer Pope -
The source of Roman Catholic hope;
With church problems, he soon will cope;
In darkness, we need never grope!

He took the name of Francis I;
He has a lot of work half-done;
The Argentine had fame, name shun;
Humility will be his gun!

He'll be a boon to poor brethren;
The Jesuit can make earth, heaven;
Abortionists can't have safe haven;
With crucial harms, he'll break even!

May God bless Pope Francis amply;
May he function quite capably;
May papacy run happily;
May he become a vale lilly!
