Long Lost Love Poem by Marites C. Cayetano

Long Lost Love

My long lost love
I've been searching for you
all through my life
and the little Sakura in my garden
already grown taller than my roof.

Where have you been all this time
my long lost love?

Now your hair are grey
and so are mine
but it's good to see you
with your face beaming
though I want to hold
even only your hands
I know you will understand
why I can't.

Now the leaves of Sakura are falling
but this is the most beautiful autumn
I see in my life
now that I see you again
my long lost love.

Nice poem. All is well, kung nahanapan mo na ang iyong kasintahan. I read some of your poems and comment it. At least you use Tagalog language. And it was great. Keep up.
