Longing To Believe
I saw only what I wanted to see
and truly believed it was meant to be
No one, no one, as happy as I
Rolling along
and living my lie
Oh what a dark awakening
to find that love was never there
All those dreams I thought we'd share
I look back
hoping I have learned
from the past
All I see...
Burning embers
soot and ash.
