The regrets in my life
words I wish I hadn't said so
remembering those which bring
sorrow with its ebb and flow

Wish I could turn back time
revisit the world of happiness
which is now a silent rhyme

Life, before me it lays
all old painful wounds
and unforgettable happiness rays

Pain sears through me, sharp as a knife
for missing a person who cared
without whom lonely is my life

And past sends a silent call
at an unexpected moment,
taking me through its many a silent hall

Memories, I cherish will never leave me
as with hope I wait for future
awaiting what it holds for me to see
