Looking Beyond...

Looking beyond,
Looking beyond the horizons
Of flesh and blood
I was once like ancient seafarer
Who believed the Earth to be flat
And things beyond,
Mysterious and unfathomable deep!

Looking beyond
I no more fear
Falling off the edges
For we can always harbour hope
Since the Earth is round
And our life rotates and revolves
In unbroken cycles of births and death
Away from steep cliffs and edge.

Scientific truths blended with irrational beliefs and presented beautifully with a lot of positivity and hope!

    Since the Earth is round
And our life rotates and revolves
In unbroken cycles of births and death
Away from steep cliffs and edge........... Beautiful lines! ! (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
