Sitting here alone
Looking out my window
I watch as the rain falls
Slowly from the sky
The sun hiding lazily
Behind the dull grey clouds
Waiting for the right moment to reveal itself
I watch as the trees slowly dance in the wind
I watch the rain
Soak into the beautiful earthSlowly giving it life
The i quietly drift off peacefully
Into a deep sleep
As i thank god for the rain
