Loosened Up Poem by bob barci

I do believe I've loosened up.
Those tight ropes around me have loosened.
Maybe it's the weather,
maybe it's the music,
I don't know,
but, whatever it is,
I do believe I've loosened up.
A sense of freedom has taken over.
The feeling of mellowness is about.
I don't want to lose it.
It's sort of a high on life.
I've found some peace of mind
and the inner warmth is getting warmer.
To be at peace with myself is all that I wanted.
The freedom to strip off my guard
and let myself do as I please.
Don't have to worry about who will think what.
This sense of freedom,
this peace of mind,
all this due to the fact
that I do believe I've loosened up.
