Oh Lord bless our children
As we celebrate this Christmas Day
They learn about the sweet baby
As he lay on a bed of hay

Devotion deep in their hearts
As they learn the art of giving
The love and peace that go with it
A good and caring way of living

As we look upon their young faces
The heavenly light shines in their eyes
Their lives so fresh and new
Life is such a daunting surprise

We watch and hear them sing
Their hearts are full and proud
So beautiful their voices
So clear, so sweet and loud

They gather up toys for the needy
And bless them, Lord as they pray
And bless too the entire world
On this holy Christmas Day!
