All our tears have reached the sea
All of us who believe in you
Deep down inside our hearts we cry
We Kenya.

Days keep coming and going without hope
This is how our journey is
Please find a better love for us Lord
Strong as it ever was
Deep as a river runs
Warm as the morning sun
Please remember us.

The enemy is killing us
With bullets and grenades
Unpleasant politicians
Spreading hate
And the citizenship has forgotten you
We have also forgotten
That we belong to each other.

But like the rain brings showers
Like a hopeless widow seeking justice
We will keep coming back to you for your mercies
And we don't want to ever stop
Please bring back our better love
Strong as it ever was

Remember us when we are walking
Late in the night when we are sleeping
And you are not slumbering,
