Losing My Mind Or Wait Is That My Brain? Poem by Mindless minds

Losing My Mind Or Wait Is That My Brain?

I transmit and interlink my thoughts
with the bottle I just bought.
I tip it to meet my lips; I get tipsy with each greeting.
Time goes by I sit here thinking,
is the bottle slipping or is that my mind?

I wish I had time to arrive on work on time.
Then maybe I wouldn’t have to rely on irresponsible actions
although it is just a fraction of second too late.
I debate with myself on whose thinking, my mind or my brain?
some would say is the same.

I wish I would know so I could get a hold of it
maybe control it.
Then I could show it whose boss,
I get lost in these thoughts
as the seconds invite minutes,
to greet hours
to change into days.

I ask myself why time never stays.
My thoughts are near empty as the bottle enters emptiness,
I wish I could change this, go back in time and save it.

Too late, the bottle is empty the liquid is gone.
I reach inside of me to retrieve it;
I bring a straw so I can drink it.
