Losing You Poem by Josh Burnett

Losing You

Rating: 5.0

Thoughts run through my head.
Doubt screaming as loud as it can.
My heart does not understand.
Why it beats with feelings of losing you.
Crying alone it beats there's nothing to do.
All of the sudden it doesn't feel true.
My mind sits lonely and blue.
My eyes stare straight ahead at the wall.
My defenses begin to crumble and fall.
At the start of it all I was so strong.
But nerves shot told me it wouldn't last long.
Where did my feelings begin to go wrong?
When I lost sight of where I belong.
Darkened room I sit to the violin play.
I guess it was nothing but just a game.
Happiness begins to escape.
Love is taken away.
Lonliness begins to replace.
I don't even know my own name.
Thoughts run through my head.
Doubt screaming as loud as it can.
My heart does not understand.
Why it beats with feelings of losing you.
