Losing You Poem by louis rams

Losing You

Losing you

Your wings were ready- my heart was not
How do I fill that empty spot
How do i make it, what can I do?
I feel so lost without you.
I will not get angry or take the Lords name in vain
I need him to ease my pain.
We've been together thru thick and thin
And with every battle we would always win.
GOD decided he needed another angel to protect
The new arrivals here on earth to cherish and love
Them at their birth.
So he picked you from all tye rest knowing you
Would give all your best.
The pain of losing you is very strong
But with GOD is where you belong.
I will always love you and hold you dear in my heart
you are gone but we're not apart.
