Loss
I only knew you for 23 years,
That wasn't long enough.
Life conspired to take you from us;
Circumstances beat you.
I only knew you for 23 years,
It was no where near enough.
You left far too soon,
I miss you.
for a person who is no longer with us.

This poem has special meaning for me PG, because of those 23 years! That is how long I had my late husband in my life. A strange co-incidence. I enjoyed your poem. 10 from Tai, sorry for your loss also.
