Trying to move to the future
But is stuck in the past
The pain is still there
So happiness don't last

I can feel the tears
Go down the face of my heart
I know hate is an emotion
But it feels like a permanent scare

I'm like a footprint in the sand
You see it but don't know where I'm at
I'm lost in the wind
Can't find my way back

When I do
I know I'll be home
Happy forever
In the one place I belong
