Lost And Bewildered Without Their Masters Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Lost And Bewildered Without Their Masters

Rating: 2.0

When the false light of the self righteous dims,
Fades to go out.
Will beliefs of survivors clash?
Will those who were taught to trash themselves...
Feel orphaned,
With an emptiness?

Identities thought theirs,
Should have never been adopted!
Identities given...
Should have long been dismissed!

When the false light of the self righteous dims,
Fades to go out...
Will the pouting observed be replaced with shouts,
Of glee deserved?
Or will those disenchanted,
Find their addictions unbearable?

They have become accustomed to suppressive customs!
Entertained at their detriment!
And now lost and bewildered without their masters!

When the false light of the self righteous dims,
Fades to go out.
Will beliefs of survivors clash?
Will those who were taught to trash themselves...
Feel orphaned,
With an emptiness?

How will they fill the hollowness,
Of their existence then,
When this happens!
