Lost At Sea Poem by Peter Primmer

Lost At Sea

Lost at Sea, i knew her once this maiden fair, with golden eye's and and heart with care. But now she's gone, Lost at Sea, There is no more for her and me, Her whispered voice, her caring touch, No more my hand she will clutch, Echoes of laughter and tears through our short years, just a blink and it was gone, But in my heart forever it will live on, Lost at Sea, Those saddening words of passing time, Love such a crime, the pain the anguish the heart felt tears, Engraved in marble for years, Thou passing time may ease the burden, Those words immortal ring through my ears, Lost at Sea, No more tears, gone as on the crest of a breaking wave, Left behind with heart felt sorrow, can there be a tommorow, Lost at Sea, So cold and done, in this time no one has won. Lost at Sea.
