Lost Bracelets Poem by Bryan Jordan

Lost Bracelets

Come after school she said.I smiled. She went to class as did I.5 min left till the school day ends. The bell, jokes with the fellas by the car.Daps and pounds and a quick smoke.15 minute drive to her house.Shes in her cheer outfit as the door opens. We laugh.Cup of OJ.Her house feels like my home. She lays on me.I fiddle through her hair. She finger walks on my hand.Boy meets world We always kept that channel.Topanga and Corey in the TV background as our lips touch, our bodys get close. We hug.I leave.I mess up.Been a long time since ive returned. We she ever let me? I miss her bracelet.I miss her.Its been along time since ive seen her smile.I miss her smile.
