Treasure Island

Lost Image

While a madman runs down the street
Just thinking about being a somebody
Kick cans and I roam
Looking for and thinking of you

Take the 'feeling' of this play
I'm happy and I want you
Image lost on the road
Your eyes will one day see

Oh!
Why do not you see?
No!
I do not want to know more
However one day I'll have!

Hidden behind my eyes
It is the love you do not see
Try to hear my plea
And the sunshine reborn

Oh!
Why do not you see?
No!
I do not want to know more
However one day I'll forget!

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
