Lost In The Sun Poem by Brandon Chiles

Lost In The Sun

'Lost in the Sun'
With these eyes I'll never forget,
the horror you brought into my life.
Time goes on and my heart fills with strife.
You know you left me broken,
dying and bleeding out my soul.
Truly I was the fool.
Must you haunt my dreams like a ghost...
will we meet again on that stormy coast?
My heart can't take this pain,
and so I go to walk down Main,
this is it...its over and done...I'll be dead...with the rising Sun.

Thankfully it's never over and done man. It takes those darker times to inspire some of us and we can milk them when we put our minds to it. Get used to the ghosts and keep walking.
