Lost Love Poem by Vincent Young

Lost Love

Rating: 3.7

Be not sad child, for yesterday's love is gone
N'ver to return, a distant memory...a summer's night
Cry now till your hearts content Oh Lost love of mine
For tomorrow you are but a distant...memory
And love comes this spring, surely as winter melts
Show me your face true love and let me adore thee

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A friend related their breakup. No contact with an ex. Always remember that too will pass. And tomorrow as we all know we will find someone else.
