Lost Love Poem by Jake Gassiot

Lost Love

Rating: 3.0

A rose in her hand
Peaceful as can be
Like when we walked through the sand
Right there next to the sea

Hands intertwined, along our stroll
The waves crashing on the shore
They collapse upon my soul
I can’t take it any more

The waves washed our footprints away
They stole you away from me
With out you, I cannot stay
God, hear my plea

You can’t give me back my love
Then, please, give me a little shove
