Lost Love Devalued Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Lost Love Devalued

Rating: 5.0

“In my heart I held a love
that tears could never wash away
nor parch in golden years.

In my heart
I held a love.”

Tumultuous torrent tears
could never wash away.

Nor parch petulant
in softly setting golden years.

My heart you shattered
my love you splattered.
In your moody quivering quest
for ever more material possessions.
Now you walk silent streets
in search of ever elusive love.
