She cried away, the night and day
Lost soul,
She tried to forget, not over yet
How could she know

She could not see, his art of deceive
How could he,
Broken apart, what was love in her heart
No dignity

A letter she wrote, for the better
He never answered,
Now all alone, she waits at home
He no longer loves her

Betrayed of the heart, the tears swell to start
Feels like something dying,
She tries to hold on, but the hurt is to strong
And she starts crying

A heart in pain, it comes down like rain
When a heart is in love,
And though we beg it to stay, it still goes away
We can only remember of

Betrayed of the heart, rips a heart apart
And now she knows,
Crying away, the night and day
Lost soul.
