Lost Tendency Poem by Solomon Akpoyomare

Lost Tendency

Like the sea, slowly swinging beyond her shore
Like a fire flame, flying firmly in the fame of the air
Like our Tendency, tending in the tent of the test.

It was a national investment
An investment to improve the sea state
A state to bring the flame off the air.

Now, competition has conquered their thought
Their heart is filled with filthy fragrance
Exiting the sea and the flame.

We know how it started
We know who started it
We know not the end.

Yes! We are concern
The destruction we thought, were immerse
Not what we can imagine for the one to come.
