Lost Thought Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Lost Thought

It grew like a flower
in the meadow
A rare thought
that has gone and went
It singularly took flight…
out the window
It didn't even leave
a lingering scent

It was sparkly
and bright
It was
a one of a kind
Dynamic
as a star in the night...
Vanishing
completely from my mind

Perhaps
I can catch it with a net
Swishing
to and fro in space
Searching…
haven't found it yet
It has blown away
with out a trace
