Lost Trust

A non-beloved unpleasant feeling
self-injected itself in to me
from a most obvious unwanted self-infected
horrid disease, which heart-shatteringly
soul-quaking is certainly inflicting
ginormous devastation; it purely be
an illness never to have a vaccine conjured
because it derives from my emotionally
unattractiveness that is overbearing
indeed. This forever inhabiting, I progressively see
the ugliness of my unfit behaviour; it inescapably
resulted in the hurtful conclusion of I being untrustworthy
within your wondrous heart; understanding
that I am forever unforgiven – with the key
to unlock your trust – once it was bestowed
to me. However, I have undesirably
that to which I cherished much; depending,
with time, I wish that I am never let free
from you, yet, once trust is broken it never is returned;
mind-bogglingly, you have deviated from this inevitability.

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
