Lotus Poem by Sreejith S Nair

Lotus

Rating: 3.5

The dregs of deeds met the sand less shore
And the desirous sea left the womb less lotus
The over grey clouds are over
And the precious lotus is all alone.

The droplets over the pink petals
Gleams the colour of unborn dreams
And the ghosts of the turbulent waves
Eats the night of absurd smile.

The bliss of the two blue leaves
Blinks like the omniscient beads
And the grief of unknown being
Shatter like the glowing beam.

In the vacuum, away from the lees
Lotus is now all alone.
Adieu to the dead deeds and grieves
Only the sighs of wave remain.

Again the droplets over the pink petal
Gleams the colour of unborn dreams
And the sigh of turbulent waves
Greet the might of womb less lotus.

Near is now far and far is not near
And now the lotus is all alone.
