Lotus Child
With roots in blood and mire
It rose above the city sky
Shouting profanities at the unforgiving night

With your explanation to Aftab Alam Khursheed I can well understand your poem ! Kudos!
The lotus flower is a main symbol of Buddhism, the idea being that its roots are in mud and mire yet it blooms above the surface of the water. It is also used in Hinduism where the gods and goddesses are depicted seated on a lotus throne. My poem is a continued metaphor where a young man is the flower. I can explain further if necessary, but prefer for it to be up for interpretation.
Kindly explain the theme and thought
Remove the mud from your eyes. I like it. thanks.
