Love makes you happy, is what they say,
Love makes you wake up, for every new day.
Love makes you leave, love makes you stay,
Love lets you find, needles lost in the hay.

Love turns the world around all the time,
Love makes the poet, write poetry that rhymes,
Love is blue eyes, and gold hair so fine,
Love is the woman in these eyes of mine.

Love makes the birds sing in the trees,
Love makes the honey for the honey bees,
Love lets the whales swim in the seas,
Love makes a painters true masterpiece.

Love makes a mockingbird sweetly sing,
Love makes the church bells loudly ring,
Love makes a babe, to his mother cling,
Love is the worlds most beautiful thing.

Love is a gift to the human soul,
Love is forever to have and to hold,
Love is from God, come into the fold,
love made us all in the same mold.
