Thoughts about love
Consume my mind
Why do I have these feelings
I thought love was just a state of mind

I thought love could be thought over
I thought it was nothing
But if it is nothing
Then why do we think it is everything

Is it because we believe in our loved ones
Is it because we believe in our mate
Is it because we believe we want them
Is it because we believe it is fate

I still do not know what the meaning is
I thought I did once
But I should have known that it wasn’t
It was just lust

Love involves getting hurt
Love involves enduring pain
But to finding love
Is the biggest gain

So what is love
Why do we become so obsessed about it
Is it really that important
Or is it just bullshit

What I have learned
Is love cannot be defined
It is extremely complicated
Something words cannot describe

So these thoughts about love
That once consumed my head
Are no longer questions
Love is just complicated and it cannot be said
