Love Poem by Jennifer Cameron

Love

Rating: 1.5

We look for you in the
oddest places, searching,
wanting, it shows
so haunting on our faces.
We think it's you we
have invited in our
home. But alas, it's usually
a poor imitation and
so we continue to roam.
Most of us think we know
when in fact we can't even
recognize you, Otherwise how
can we explain it, the pain we endure
and the constant abuse?
"I do not hurt" you say,
"but you have to find me
from within, And once you
conquer self-love, your aura
will spread and I in a greater
form to you will be sent."
