Love Poem by Angelique Wright

Love

She looked at him
And quickly looked away
Like eye contact through the rearview
He made her nervous

She bit her lip in anxiety
And he found it to be sexy
She glanced at him in shyness
And he took it to be seduction

He wrapped his arms around her waist
And she never felt safer
He pressed his lips against hers
And lava flowed through her body

She questioned his life
He opened up like never before
He trusted this girl
Like he never knew he was capable

She noticed time pass
And the flame was a spark
He felt the coldness
Coming his way

He loved her too much
To let her go
She loved him too much
To let him stay

He looked at her
And quickly looked away
Like eye contact through the rearview
She made him nervous
