Love amma* and others
They have lot more to offer
Even if we quarrel and differ
She is with smile to offer

Will we be able to forget?
Let our action be not late!
Let us not cause any embarrassment
Let people come at door and knock with comments

Parents need not find old age home
We got to look after and welcome
I come across many stories daily in news
Old age home refuges entry as we fail to pay the dues

Not all may be discourteous
But reports are pouring in continuous
It is matter of great concern
Today’s gratitude should face ugly turn

Many houses may be wishing good day
Washing feet to remember this day
Many may garland at picture
Remembering their childhood for sure
