You were his first love,
It was with you that he dreamt,
His first dreams.
But you poisoned those dreams and
Went away,
Leaving him disillusioned and dry.
So much so, that his new wishes,
New hopes,
New dreams of tomorrow became blurred.
They were no longer fresh and clear.
But were clouded with despair
And disillusionment.
You haunted him still,
But I tried my best,
To change him.
Tried to infuse his dreams with my joy.
Light up his life with my love.
But it was all in vain,
You were love and I was Fame.

I would like to translate this poem
But somehow a lost love is always lost and fame has to replace it with a viking landmark into victory saying its not always hearts...its also the brain which boosts up the motive and prospect of a relationship....very realistic and rational...humane and related to human...human problems in general of the moral...pertinent with relationships....like would be true platonic love versus transitory love with the aura of physicality...and in the end love minus love is also love..as the answer...10 for the expression.
