Love And Hate - Poem by Dillon Crawford

Since the start of time they have been known
Never giving a rest
like a vacuum, people go in and don't come out
Love and hate
Always at war
Always in battle

Not many people know the reason they're there
To emotions that cause so much pain
And yet here they are, the center of us.
Love and hate
Always at war
Always in battle

The sound of the war
Isn't always aloud
For this war shall never go out
It stays with you
Inside your body.
Love and hate
Always at war
Always in battle

A war with no words
A war with go guns
And yet
This war seems to be so bloody
Love and hate
Always at war
Always in battle

Never dying
And yet never truly living
A war that can't be stopped
Not with force
Or with words
Love and hate
Always at war
Always in battle
