Love And Hope Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Love And Hope

They loved and they cherished, or so went
Their vows
Together they shared dreams throughout the
Long hours;
In the morning at the beginning of the dawn
On through the day, their love that seemed
Endless lingered on.
Like the stars pinned in the deep sky of
Blue
They held hands and whispered 'Our love is
Forever true'.
Yes, Love and Hope a happy young pair
Floated along together like the clouds
Through the sweetness of the air.

Love and hope always float like the white clouds in the blue sky while white stands for hope And blue stands for love
