Love And It's Deadly Ambition Poem by Rachel Henley

Love And It's Deadly Ambition

Love and all of it's deadly ambition,
made heartbreak out of something non-existant,
We are dreaming houses,
we are dreaming children,
We are dreaming of what we hope to come
but we were just dreaming, only dreaming.

Love and all of it's cruel ambition,
tore the happiness,
of the young hearts and the young minds,
left only to the adults that become those,
who got married and lived loveless lives.
