Love And Pain Poem by Anna Reeves

Love And Pain

Not much you can say about love,
It is a four (4) letter word,
It comes out of your month,
You say it to me,
Like im your new dog,
You treat me like you love me,
But no emotions on your face,

As a tear rolls down my face,
The chair flies across the room,
I fall to the floor,
With mighty force,
I take a deep breathe,
My last image is you standing there,
Looking down on me,
With finely an emotion,

You wave goodbye,
As my eyes close,
I was now in a continued dream,
I dream or a nightmare,
Of you watching me and laughing away at my emteyness,

I bet you are still laughing.

For my bestfriend bree who died from her boyfriend hitting her,
he served no time in jail..
